Thomas took the boys to see Wall•E on Saturday. Well, apparently the movie they really wanted to see was Clone Wars. Yes, they are Drinking the Kool-Aid, and I think I know where they got it. I am looking at you Katherine. My two boys have tuned into Star Wars freaks. Something I know nothing about, and no matter how much I try, I cannot watch one of those movies. I feel like Keegan and Braden have this secret language I know nothing about. JangoFett? R2D2? Droids? Sounds like illicit drugs to me. Maybe I should get them checked, and that house around the corner where they like to hang out with their lightsabers. I still have my eye on you Katherine.
Since Saturday Keegan saw that Clone Wars was playing on Tuesday night. Between Braden asking every 5 minutes for the Red Bionicle "at the Peeeeeeeeeex, not the BeeeeeeeeX Mama", Keegan has reminded me that Clone Wars plays on Tuesday, and if I would like to take him, he will keep his room clean and not yell at Braden. Uh-huh.
So the day has come, and I take Keegan, Braden and a friend each to see this movie.
Let me just say. When I am 120 years old and they have to sponge bathe me. I better not hear a peep. I will, in my old squeaky but smooth voice remind them that I once sat through 2 hours of a movie that I had no clue what was going on except the slug was a really important guy.

you should get the MOM OF THE YEAR award. LOL. Hmmm, those boys are a mess.
You are seriously cracking me up! I love it. Love that you went to a movie you were totally lost in for your boys. Now that is one cool mom.;) Maybe we should trade for a bit, you can do the Princess thing over and over and over again and I'll catch up on my Star Wars (yes I love it, busted I know. lol)TOO FUNNY!
ha ha ha ha, that is soooo funny! We took the kids to that last week. I'm not the biggest Star Wars fan either. I was seriously counting down the minutes until I could get out of the theater. My kids however, loved it. Oh the joys of motherhood, and seeing movies with your kids!
It is your duty as a mother to teach them the way of the force. Lucky I'm here to help you out in that department. Need any tailor made Jedi robes, or training videos you know where to go. I'm here for you Shannan. YOUR WELCOME!
love it. especially that comment about the old and in diapers. HA!
LOVING that my DAUGHTER isn't addicted to that stuff. BUT... still relishing the fact that my husband took her to see the Kit Kittridge American Girl movie! Wish I could've been a fly on the wall.
My husband could not believe I was a deprived child who never watched Star Wars and finally convinced me to watch them. I think we’ve rented 3 so far. They’re okay, but I’m not in love, I miss be missing something. But strangely enough, I really want to take my girls to watch the Clones Wars but they want nothing to do with it.
