The boys have, of course, been begging and pleading for Star Wars costumes for Halloween. Me, not being that big of a fan, and not wanting to spend that much money, or time making them, had almost convinced them to be other things.
Today Dayton and I made a quick stop into the thrift store on base and found a Darth Vader, Darth Maul, and Luke Skywalker costume! So, not only will they both have a costume, they will also have an option. That should help with the inevitable, them wanting the same one.
For only $3 each!!

Don't you love when things work out and everyone's happy. I haven't even started thinking about Halloween costumes yet, I better get started.
Did you happen to notice if they had any girlie costumes at the thrift shop while you were there?
Sadly I don't get to shop for anything girlie. They did have quite a few costumes though.

Thanks for the link this morning. I'll be checking it out. ;) I'm actually using Before Five In a Row and adding to it with www.letteroftheweek.com we just haven't "officially" (HA!) started yet and won't til we get back in late October. But I'm always on the lookout for new ideas! Plus I'm going a lot on memory here from when I taught 2 and 3 year olds! LOL. You would think I could be more organized huh?
