Oura Wan

We finally made it up to OuraWan today. We went to search for shells and seaglass, but found very little of both. Just lots of broken coral. It was a nice day however, and the kids had a blast playing in the sand and in the end, the waves.
One of the few pictures of Braden, he is either moving to fast or refuses to look at me when I have the camera out.

They had a blast climbing on the rocks

Writing in the sand

Gotcha! One more pic before he runs away...

I know you were all dying to see the monkey butt shorts I had mentioned yesterday :)

Future architect....but only after he becomes a world renowned physician and saves a few thousand lives ;)

Playing in the sand

It was starting to get a little chilly....one of the kids decided he needed a shower and poured a bucket of water on Dayton, oops! Good think our friends had a jacket :)

On a side note, this was the first time I have ventured this far away by myself. I was a bit nervous, although there were only 2 turns to get there. I did learn a few things though.
1. I don't like driving through tunnels. I always close my eyes when Thomas drives through them, and, well, since I was driving that seem like a good idea.
2. Look to see which way the traffic is going, and just go that way. At one point the road split and I thought I was about to get on the expressway, which I did once before. The expressway is lie a toll road. Once I got on it before I had no idea where to get off, as we had only been here a few weeks then. Anyhow, so today, the road splits, and I thought the lanes going to the left were headed towards the expressway. so I go to the right. Right into oncoming traffic! Oops, luckily someone else was paying better attention that I, and quickly swerved out of my way, whew!
