Cocoks...

..not to be confused with CoCos (which I had tonight also, my recommendation, half-order chicken cutlet, level 2 with cheese & naan bread and since you cant read the nutritional facts you don't even have to worry about regretting it afterwards).

Now back to Cocoks, as in the beuaty salon, as in the place that afforded me 2 hours of lovely relaxation, girl talk , tasty green tea, and pretty toes.

This afternoon my friend(and fellow southerner hailing from Decatur, AL) Traci called and asked if I wanted to join her for a pedicure tonight, someone had to cancel last minute and she had made an appointment for 2. Since Thomas is home, I thought I might as well go. I have heard many glorious thing about this place, but yet to go.

Heres the before, they were pretty sad. Hasn't seen polish since kid #3 came along.

As much as I enjoyed having my feet and calves massaged, I was very uncomfortable having someone I didn't know doing it. To have to rub someone else feet for a living seems so wrong. For that reason I don't think I will be able to go back.
But oh my goodness did it feel good.

While receiving the massage they have these things with painted nails. You look through and find the art you want on your toes.

Ok, call me strange again, but those nails freaked me out a bit too, fake nails seem morbidly creepy to me.

So, you pick out your design, and once again, the chick works magic.

That brush had like three hairs on it, the detail is so amazing.

Ta-Da...the after:

Dayton was most impressed..he kept pointing and jabbering some excited baby talk...

Oh, and I guess I should mention the very best part of all this..it was less than $40...

I went and got a pedicure/manicure the other day and felt so bad for these women. Thinking that this is their life their job! It's kinda sad to have to rub women's nasty feet all day long!

I'm not sure I will go back either!

I honestly believe Cocok's is part of the Okinawan experience, and I plan on making the most of my time here! Glad you got to go!
